I’ve been noticing that there’s a missing element in self help books. And I think together, you and I could overcome that missing element. Here’s how I noticed it…
I enjoy Christmas. I like spending time with my family. I love watching my kids getting all excited, opening their presents and having fun playing with them. I like the time to relax. I like the routine going out of the window. I like being able to switch off and watch films. I like that I can read and have time to work through ideas.
But what I really love about Christmas is that slowing down and stopping gives me time to review what I am doing and I’m always eagerly anticipating getting started in the new year. I always have some new plan or new way forward. And so I love this time of year. I love the freshness of a new approach, the fact that the slate is clean for a brand new start.
You might not feel the same. You might be one of many who hates getting started again. Whatever way you feel, I want to tell you that I have something that might help you to regain that freshness of mind. Something that will make you look anew at the world, bring you clear new desires and help you to wipe away past baggage. I’ll be letting you know more about this soon, I’m still working on it.
You may have noticed that this is posted on a new blog. There’s a reason for that. I have an entire new philosophy which I’m calling Happiness 2.0.
To share this with you I wanted a way that we could interact more. I know that much of what I write will turn out to be wrong. We’re all stumbling our way through life, getting clearer and bit by bit working out what we’re doing and where we’re going.
So my hope is that you’ll add in your views and comments. And together we’ll meld our perspectives into something better overall. And when people read this later, they get a kaleidoscope of views and so they have a more rounded basis for making a decision.
So why not add your view?
How are your New Year resolutions going?
What is helping you to stick to them and what’s holding you back?
